How to identify training need whereas all the experiences persons have been inducted by us?

*****************************************

I'm not sure I entirely understand the questions but I'm going to guess here that you are looking for training gaps in the person you are looking to hire.

My first recommendation is to do a skills assessment of the candidate. There are a number of ways that you can assess the skills of a potential employee. Some require an in person proctor, others still merely require access to a computer and can be taken online.

My second recommendation is to ask the candidate. Many times an employer in an interview will ask a candidate for their weaknesses. While some may answer this question, it is not likely to result in anything too revealing. On the other hand, if you ask a candidate where they think they may need some additional training, you get some insight into where they feel their weaknesses are.

Anybody else have suggestions?
